The Chateau at River’s Edge, located in the desirable Campus Commons neighborhood, Â is home to about 100 residents who enjoy exceptional care, service

Residents enjoy a built-in “extended family” of neighbors with whom to share life’s experiences. Instead of doing mundane chores, residents can lead fulfilled, enriched lives.
There is no more yard work, maintenance, housekeeping or meal preparation — unless they so choose. And, they don’t have to depend on or burden family members with these everyday tasks. With staff on hand 24 hours each day, residents are free to make new friends, take up hobbies or enjoy favorite leisure pastimes.
Private, rental studio, one- or two-bedroom apartments are ready to be individualized with personal furnishings and belongings. Each apartment is cable-ready and has individually controlled heating/air-conditioning. Most have a patio or balcony. And, because apartments are available on a month-to-month rental basis, residents don’t have to deplete their savings for an expensive “buy-in” fee or commit to a lengthy lease period.
The community was specifically designed with features not found in most private homes. The hallways have handrails and are wide and well-lighted. There are grab bars in the restrooms. An emergency call systems in each apartment is monitored by staff 24 hours a day. Wearable signaling pendants and other safety features give residents and their families added peace of mind.
A beautiful, double living room is separated by a cozy fireplace and offers an abundance of comfortable seating as well as a baby grand piano.
Residents also enjoys a large card and game room, where complimentary coffee and tea is available throughout the day. A Meeting-Activity Room is often used for crafts and boasts a large-screen TV. There is also an intimate, quiet library stocked with classic literature and resident favorites.
Each day there are opportunities to socialize with friends, especially over meals. Three nutritious, health-promoting and delicious meals are served daily. All menus are reviewed by a registered dietician. Restaurant-style menus and service takes place in an elegant dining room that ensures a relaxed atmosphere with plenty of choices.
The cuisine is prepared with the freshest ingredients by trained and talented chefs who rival those found in four-star hotels.
A lovely private dining room can be reserved for birthday, anniversary and other celebrations with family and friends. And, the superb Food Services staff can cater private functions.

The Chateau at River’s Edge offers a full complement of planned activities designed to stimulate residents’ physical and mental capacities as well as promote a sense of joy, well-being and belonging.

Residents also can choose from a wide array of amenities and services. There’s weekly housekeeping with an option for more frequent cleaning; complimentary laundry facilities and optional personal laundry and linen service.
There is an on-site beauty/barber shop and easy access to a computer lab as well as a resident-operated convenience store. Concierge assistance is available for dry cleaning pick up and delivery, notary services and other tasks.
